Terms and Conditions of Ordering and Delivery

Ordering Products

You can request a quote and place an order primarily by email or, if necessary, by phone. The information provided and the shipping address must be correct, and the customer is always responsible for the accuracy of the information. By placing an order, you agree to the current Terms and Conditions of Ordering and Delivery.

Order and Payment Confirmation

Once we have received your order, we will send you an order confirmation via email containing your order details. Please always review the contents of the order confirmation. If you notice any errors in the information, please notify us immediately.

Payment and Payment Confirmation

Products are paid for via a prepayment invoice. You will receive the prepayment invoice along with the order confirmation, and the order has a 7-day payment term. We will send a confirmation via email once the payment has been credited to our account.

Delivery Time

The woodworking bench is constructed after you order it. The production time for a woodworking bench is approximately 1–4 weeks from the confirmation of your order. Your order will be shipped no sooner than after payment for the product has been credited to our account. Delivery time for a woodworking bench after it is completed is approximately 2–4 business days.

We will contact you by email or phone regarding any deviations from the standard delivery time.

Shipping Methods and Costs

Woodworking benches are shipped via freight. After you have requested a quote for your order, we will also send information about shipping costs. If agreed on, it is also possible to pick up the woodworking bench yourself without shipping cost from Kestilä, Siikalatva, Finland.

Right of Withdrawal and Return Policy

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Protection Act, calculated from the date of receipt of the product. In the event of a return, please contact us primarily by email (jorma@mart.fi) in advance to receive instructions on how to return the product. Simply returning the product or failing to pick it up without a separate notice of cancellation or return is not sufficient.

The right to return does not apply to custom-made products or products that have been modified or personalized according to the customer’s specifications. If a product is not covered by the right of return, this will be stated in the quote.

The customer is responsible for the shipping and packaging costs associated with the return. Marttilan puu ja metalli is not liable for returned products lost by the shipping company.

Issues with the product or the delivery

If you encounter any problems with the product, please contact us by email or phone: jorma@mart.fi, 0400 155 922. Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If the product is missing or damaged during shipping, or if it otherwise does not match your order, you must report the issue in writing within 14 days. If the package is clearly damaged during shipping, we will file a claim with the shipping company based on the information you provide.
